Rogers and Goffigon

A catalog of high-quality textiles

We collaborated with Abbott Miller and his team at Pentagram to modernize the website for Rogers & Goffigon, a design company renowned for its high-quality home-furnishing textiles. The previous site offered a limited mobile experience, and as a primarily B2B platform, it presented clear opportunities to improve how designers browse and compare the collection.

The layout of the product detail page was inspired by the physical sample cards Rogers & Goffigon sends to clients, where the textile itself takes center stage and supporting information is presented alongside it. The former site made comparison difficult, forcing users to navigate back and forth or open multiple browser tabs. We addressed this by introducing a smart comparison table that surfaces related textiles while also keeping recently viewed items accessible at the bottom of the page.

Previously, the detail page displayed textiles full-bleed with a ruler to suggest physical scale. While visually striking, this approach made information harder to scan and limited the page’s ability to scale with additional content modules. The redesigned page adopts a more structured layout that improves readability and flexibility, while still allowing designers to view the textiles up close—with the ruler retained as a secondary, optional feature.
