Vids is Google's new collaborative video creation tool and the latest addition to Google Workspace. We partnered with the Google Vids team to design and develop a suite of templates for its built-in library, helping users get started quickly and create more engaging content. Our work included Consumer, AI, and Social Media templates that demonstrate the platform’s flexibility and creative potential—all while maintaining a cohesive, Google-branded experience.

Using these templates, Vids users can quickly produce professional-looking videos that follow a consistent and cohesive design system. For each template, we developed a distinct motion narrative through typography, color, layout, music, and image or video footage. Each one carries its own unique brand identity, giving customers a wide range of styles to choose from when creating their own Vids.

Below are a few of the templates we created for Google's users to explore and customize. These are all built directly in the tool—every asset, animation, UI element, and visual effect was created natively within Vids, demonstrating both its creative range and streamlined workflow. 

We designed Vids templates to be effortless to use by building a flexible sequence of scenes and separating every visual element—text, footage, color, typography, and music—into fully customizable components. This structure makes Vids templates simple for anyone to pick up and tailor instantly.
