Vids is Google's new collaborative video creation tool and the latest addition to Google Workspace. We partnered with the Google Vids team to design and develop a suite of templates for its built-in library, helping users get started quickly and create more engaging content. Our work included Consumer, AI, and Social Media templates that demonstrate the platform’s flexibility and creative potential—all while maintaining a cohesive, Google-branded experience.

We designed Vids templates to be effortless to use by building a flexible sequence of scenes and separating every visual element—text, footage, color, typography, and music—into fully customizable components. This structure makes Vids templates simple for anyone to pick up and tailor instantly.

For each Vids template, we developed a different motion narrative using typography, color, layout, music, and image/video footage. Every template required its own unique brand identity to allow customers to choose from a wide range of styles when creating their own Vids.
