Dive into the history of Audemars Piguet
Audemars Piguet is one of the most respected luxury watch brands in the world. With the 50th anniversary of its flagship watch, the Royal Oak, coming up, we joined forces with partner agency Bonjour Paris, to design and develop a site honoring this momentous occasion.
A journey through time
Multiple modes of navigation and discovery serve both brand neophytes and longtime loyalists equally well. Newcomers gain immediate exposure to AP’s deep well of products while diehard fans are teased with tantalizing trivia. The site is continuously updated with new stories, making the unique, densely populated timeline view an incredibly compelling look at AP’s storied history.
Smart, fast, expansive
The site was designed with an AEM headless CMS and a Vue front-end to work with AP’s Adobe Cloud-based digital ecosystem. A dedicated Elastic Search instance allows for faster search and indexing as well as multi-faceted requests to the content. Automated accessibility and performance scans pro-actively outline issues to be resolved to ensure AA WCAG compliance and high SEO performance.
Edutainment
The site also accommodates custom built “edutainment” experiences that allow AP to further get to know its audience and test its knowledge. These fun and highly engaging moments also act as great entry points to the richer content within.
